I’m thankful for this truth- It’s ok to not be ok. Over the last two years I’ve hit some of my lowest lows and the truth was that I was loved just as much in my lowest moments as I was in my best moments. I wouldn’t choose those dark painful moments for sure, but I’m thankful for the opportunity to experience love in a completely new way. Love didn’t need me to be ok. Love wanted to sit with me when I was sad and disappointed just as much as it wanted to be with me when I was feeling great. The permission to not be ok has been incredibly freeing. Do you need that permission today too? Take it friend.
